The AMAZONE MultiSwitch distribution head allows for the closure of all outlets in the distribution head WITHOUT creating overpressure in the distribution head or in the sowing furrows. When the seed is closed off, it is redirected back to the rising pipe, while air passes to the sowing knife via the air valve in the distribution head. Simultaneously, when the individual row shutdown is activated, the speed of the sowing units is reduced, ensuring that the correct sowing amount is maintained despite the return flow to the rising pipe.
